Since my beloved Mighty Mouse has not been functioning as preferred (specifically, the top and side buttons were not being recognized) I have been eagerly anticipating Apple's Fall product update so that I could look into getting whatever the new iteration of the mouse might be. Today Apple announced the new Magic Mouse and while I am very excited to try one out in person, I was less excited about the fact that it is ...

A sneak peek of the monster I drew for this month and the upcoming revamping of the Dra Studio website. I was getting really frustrated with both all of my physical inking solutions ... my brush-tip markers were dull and I still can't get a steady flow running from the quills.
So after trying three times, I just gave up and finished this guy off in Illustrator with the nifty new blob brush.

The longer Twitter continues without a solid business model, the less trusting I become in the stability of their social system and in the safe-keeping of all those tweets I have spent so much time in writing. In fact, I think a problem that is going to surface very soon (once more people become aware of it) is that Twitter only keeps your last 3,200 tweets ... a seemingly big number, but one that ...

... well not really, but close enough. Thanks the non-exporting and defunct joy that is SimpleLog, I have been staring my eyes out at MySQL tables and gui blog entries. I am only 1/4 of the way thru, but no worries ... I will continue to digitally dilate my eyes until you can enjoy the wholeness that is the next release of this blog. Soon ... soon indeed.

Thanks to Jason M reminding me yesterday about the joy that is the free MySQL database management app for the Mac, Sequel Pro, you will now find that many of the old posts (especially of the sketch variety) are now correctly displaying images.

iTunes RSS Generator
HTTP Client
Both are coming in really handy for the Project 2 ideas our DFP ...
