Day #22 – Box
Since I got home from work late last night, I wasn’t able to pick up the extra special box Jessica sent until this morning. And since I have been hawk-edly watching the FEDEX shipping notifications for eight full days, it is no wonder I couldn’t sleep!
So, you may ask … what was in the box? Well, not only did Jess send my new camera, a Canon S5 IS (EEEEeeee!!), and accessories and our new wireless Wii Sensor bar, but she also added in a few of other fun extras … including new camera bags for both Jodie and I. She’s the best, am I right?
Needless to say, I took most of the day off from work to play with the new camera and start working my way through the manual and trying to understand all the lens and such. Don’t worry … I’ll be posting photos very very soon!
Oh and if you own a Mac or an iPhone and aren’t using Mike Piontek’s slick Delivery Status applications to track your online shipments … you should be. Simple UI, beautiful graphics and wireless package syncing … it is just common sense.
