Day #7 – Loser
So my family has only had a Nintendo Wii for like 11 days and already Margie is the king of Boxing, David has triple Pro status and even my visually-challenged father is killing it in Wii Bowling. I seriously just watched him bowl a straight Turkey! Gah!
Despite my best efforts and months of prior ‘mote and Nunchuk experience, I still got schooled … especially by Margie. My quick one-two jab combos were no match for her fierce undercuts and rib attacks. And even in Wii Tennis, where I normally excel, David found tons of “sweet” spots to return my power serves at and destroy me. Looks like I need to hit the showers and regroup … and I guess practice some more.
Oh and I am magically posting this sketch while away from the office, a scanner and even a copy of Photoshop. I mean, com’n … I’m at a Chick Fil-A opening all the way in the 9-5-4! Pretty sneaky, huh?
