Quandaries

Posted on Thursday, June 7th, 2007 under Writings | No comments

So I am starting a new tag section here at the Sketch Blog, and I am calling it “quandary”. This will be for those posts where I will bring to you the reader some of the many curious life-altering wonderings I come across in my day-to-day.

Most will be frivolous in nature and they all with be completely void of real meaning, but my saying so is by no means permission for you to not base your life upon their conclusions. Especially since I expect your input in solving their mysteries; and frankly, if you are so willing to force the big yellow bus that is your opinion upon me, if I am walking down Main Street next week, and see you, it had better be behind the wheel and in the foam-padded driver seat of that bus.

Birth-week!
Here is my newest painting, done for our kitchen at the 2324 Apartment. Oh how I love drawing monsters ... really if it wasn't for me already wanting to own a pet bear, I would want a pet monster. :) This week is, of course, part of the wonderful tradition that Jodie and I started of ...
Beard
Jodie and I saw this guy walking down John Young yesterday, and I kid you not ... this is exactly what his beard and mustache combo looked like. It was big, fluffy, and so crazy long. It was also a misty white, with yellow/creme brown colored ends, but that is besides the point. I'm not at ...
Notable Notes
Here are my notes from Justin Miller's excellent sermon during Family Worship Hour today: Leadership Principles of Faith Introduction (relating holiness to faith): "Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14)." "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who ...
