Escape

It started to rain today ... during the middle of the day. Right about when chapel was letting out. Everyone was running around in the dress clothes; on their way to lunch or coming in for afternoon classes ... and there was just something so fun and carefree about it.

In passing, Clayton Wheeler said something to me that really captured the moment: "There is a certain freedom that comes with the rain." What does the rain remind you of? What is one of your favorite memories that happened while it was raining?

** The painting is called "Escape" and it was Michelle and my first attempt at painting on book canvas. Pretty fun. **

Just picked up the #1 book of Hero @ Large. It's amazing looking and so far, pretty funny. It goes down smooth like a mug of birch beer (Come on, Terry! It's not alcohol - just red root beer!). In like two seconds, it moved to the top of my favorite books and it's only ...
Rain
It rained for days after your most recent visit. My heart 'n the sky; both broken in agreement. Every glance through the windshield and every peek over the dash, is another moment, I wish I could outlast. Falling rain drops; each, a feeling of your skin. Breathing air 's no longer easy, since I'm breathing you right in. I miss the ...
