Monday, without Mutiny

Posted on Monday, December 4th, 2006 under Sketches | 2 comments

** You know ... that was just supposed to be something cute for Jodie ... I don't want to hear anymore jokes about the snowman asking to be licked ... silly kids. **

It sounds all wrong coming out of my fingers, onto the keyboard and into my little blog window, but it seems as though today was really wonderful. Full of easily-accomplished tasks at work, plenty of friendly visits to my cupcake-scented office (mmmhmm ... yummy fat kid candle), and just enough free time for me to catch up on some artist blog-diving (thank you so much for Drawn!, John Martz) and even a quick sketch or two.

Since I am lacking a good in-depth thought for today's post, let's fall back to the basics (which are still plenty interesting). Name one thing that you love to do in your spare time -- something that you consider your leisure pursuit and diversion from life. Now, how did you become interested in this activity? Who was/is your inspiration? Do tell.

Oh and if you find yourself with as many free moments as I did today, and are in need of some quality skate distractions, check the photos and videos that Element has posted from their Summer of Endurance. Ohhh, I miss my board ... freakin' pop shovits and broken trucks! Maybe Santa will leave me some money for a new one under my Charlie Brown christmas tree. Eh. Maybe not.

One Free Interaction Evolved
It has been about a year since I read Chris Noessel's article on one free interaction and was immediately filled with an excited tingle-y feeling. You know the one ... it's usually reserved for when you find an extra $10 bucks or when you're the guy to remember a song title that's eluding everyone else. ...
Denting the Universe
It's almost the end of the year, so of course that means it's time for me to start self negotiations as to what is in store for next year and where/who I will end up being after another cycle of 365 days. Did my morning treadmill run at PF today to silence (as opposed to the ...

Got somethin' to say? This is the place ... just try to play nice.

And apparently I'm blog comment crazed right now.
