Kunkel vs. Kungl?

Posted on Tuesday, March 7th, 2006 under Design News Reviews | No comments

Yesterday I had a revelation. An astounding and fantastic revelation!

Yesterday I realized that two of my favorite visual creators (it doesn't seem enough to call them just 'artists') share a first name and a near identical sounding last name.

Meet Mike Kunkel and Michael Kungl. Both spectacular in their medium of art; both much more creative than I can currently hope to be; both with a flair for marvelous colors and ingenious storytelling (in their own manner). And now, both with a special tribute digital wallpaper, created by me. You can download it on this page.

I hope you enjoy their work ... they both have provided wonderful inspiration to me in my own creative works, as well as visual encouragement when I need a little "pick-me-up".
