Sleepy? Me too!

Posted on Sunday, March 5th, 2006 under News | No comments

No truer statement was made than the one by Jodie at dinner the other night (at Chick-fil-A, of course! Yay for sweet all-nighter coupons!) ... if I am not getting enough sleep, more than likely, it is Eric's fault. ;)

Seriously, it was great having Eric with us this week. Not only did Evenstar make some major headway with Mark Atteberry's site design and development (I will post a link when we launch ... should be tomorrow or Tuesday ... if I can just stop blogging long enough to finish up the last of my BaseCamp To-do items ... j/k); we were also able to collaborate on the new technologies that will more than likely direct the future of our projects. Since Eric is interesting in starting an Evenstar blog soon, I will leave the rest of the technical details for that.

So yeah. I have a lot of great books from the Library that are still piled on my desk, waiting to be read (though all the ones I have started, I am really enjoying). I just got past #3 of the Invincible trades ... amazing ... truly wonderful. Robert Kirkman ... you are a genius. And I have to say, as much I like Cory Walker's artwork and was sad to learn that he stopped drawing the books because he was getting really behind schedule ... I am just digging the work by Ryan Ottley. It is really growing on me and like Kirkman said in the back of one of the trades, he is getting better by the issue. Really.

I am supposed to have already started reading Harry Potter (sorry Jessica!), but that will have to wait just a few more days. And I am so glad that I had nothing new this week from Coliseum ... I so didn't have time to devote to any comic books.

That is about it ... though, on a minor note (or not, depending on your point of view), I have added morning and evening Bible reading times to my schedule. So many of the sermons and discussions I have heard recently have talked about how important it is and I have definitely been enjoying beginning and ending my day in that manner.

Alright ... later.

What's the Haps, My man?
Wondering what has been going down lately at the Studio? Let me fill you in. Jodie is working her heart out at her internship (Music Ed, natch'), and so hasn't made too many new desktops. There are a few and I will get those up in the upcoming days. Her internship keeps her pretty busy, so ...
Northside VBS is up!
Eric just sent me the url for the finalized posting of our latest Evenstar Media project; the Northside Christian Church's Fiesta VBS website. Yay! I have to say ... unfortunately, I didn't do the character designs ... we had to stick with the pre-made illustratons that are part of the materials for the VBS program. But ...

Alright, so it's possible I am only using that title so that I can steal the SEO for the search, as it was a site I used back in ~2007 but the domain has gone down and even the developer, Rosborough Tech has changed their name. YourBibleReading.com was a great service that let you create a ...
