appy Birthday!

Posted on Tuesday, February 28th, 2006 under Sketches | No comments

The birthday card I made for my brother Joey. Penciled on some mighty fine 140lb (?) card stock paper, then inked with my a variety of my Sakura Pigma Micron pens (ranging from 005 to 02 and of course, the variable brush one). I erased the pencil lines with a Staedtler Mars plastic eraser and finished it up with colors, using Crayola standard color pencils.

The only part I wished I could have done better is the variety of color. I really enjoyed using the color pencils, but I ran out of choices really fast, with only the 12 I had ... mmmhhhh ... need to find one of those ultra-mega-huge packs. ;)

Self-Destruct
Alright everybody. Ready your faces for this! My first ever attempt at anything in a comic style format.
