Eye of Sauron

Posted on Tuesday, January 31st, 2006 under News | No comments

Well, this past weekend proved to be a real test of mind, spirit and my personal sanity. My main business partner, Evenstar Media, had a big need in a small amount of time ... hello, Oscar to the rescue! Along with normal FCC work hours on both Thursday and Friday, I was able to complete this beauty in just about 21.5 hours, around 10pm on Saturday. Sleep? Sleep?!? Who needs sleep! ;)

Things went well, BaseCamp did its job marvelously, and I was able to make it through Sunday worship service without falling sleep on the bass.

By the way, if you haven't been on the FCC campus in a few days, let me be the first to tell you that the tower of Sauron has a new home. Yup, the CEOs over at Sprint now have solid eyes and ears to everything going on on campus.

(Confused? I will try to post a picture of it later.)

Thursday, feeling unaccomplished
I haven't been sleeping well lately. I am not really sure of the reasons, but I do know I am feeling the effects. The past couple of days I have slept at least 8 hours, if not more, and I feel so much more tired than when I went to bed ... which is ridiculous ...
Color Me Donkey
I have had such a mash of wise and helpful words run through my head the past couple of days. Rain
It rained for days after your most recent visit. My heart 'n the sky; both broken in agreement. Every glance through the windshield and every peek over the dash, is another moment, I wish I could outlast. Falling rain drops; each, a feeling of your skin. Breathing air 's no longer easy, since I'm breathing you right in. I miss the ...
Downtime?
You might have notice that the Dra Studio, Two in Review, Paper the City, Illustrative HQ, and other Oscar-related projects were down for more than a few hours a couple of weekends ago. It wasn’t from anything I did … trust me.It turns out that (mt) was experiencing some issues in the resolution of and ...
Sunday in Good Form
Thanks to some of that silly relationship garbage being out of my life (at least for now), I have been working really hard and getting plenty of things off my To-Do list (for which, by the way, I am currently using a mixture of Ta-da Lists and Basecamp). Since I still haven't gotten the Dra Studio ...
