While watching "The Never-ending Story," I was sketching alot. This subtle little pencil work is one of those.

I had forgotten how much of the story and how many of the character quirks I really enjoyed in that movie ... but check out my Local Cinema blog for more on that.

This one came out exactly as I had seen it in my mind. There are some finer details in the pencil lines; some are accented and others have been cut back by the eraser. But overall, it is nice and simple. Just right, too.

A spankily wonderful pencil sketch I did for my big bro Joey. Some of the finer details were lost in the scanning, but that is probably due to the textured clear coat I put on it to seal in the graphite. Blogged with Flock ...
E.M.C. in ink

Legolas Again
Here is my second attempt at Legolas; this time, sketched digitally into Illustrator. It stinks that my trial period of Painter has ended ... I love that app! Kal-el Kid
Did you catch the Smallville premiere? Did ya? 3 small words: Fortress of Solitude. Awesome. Even without having been all the way caught up on the past seasons, the premiere was still great. It gives me hope and inspiration to catch up on what I have missed. Vanessa (that's 1) and the rest of us were ...
