New Pixels to Place

I took more than a few moments today and added a bundle of new desktops to the Decorate gallery. The new series include Down With Love and Phantom of the Opera, with the Lord of the Rings series getting a few updates. There are also some new items in the Movies and Miscellaneous categories. Check 'em out!

If anyone has some extra cash that they need to get rid of, this sweet "The Batman" statute is my suggestion. You can send it to the DRA Studio c/o me!

By the way, for your Tiger fans out there, peep this! If you are looking for a quick way to look up a word you are typing in either the Dictionary or Thesaurus, stop heading to the Dashboard (I prefer the actual app anyway, because it supports spelling mistakes) and use this keyboard shortcut: Control+Command(Apple)+D. It'll pop open the Oxford right over your word ... pimp huh?

(Thanks to macosxhints.com ... since I forgot for a sec what the command was).

Flip Clock
Anyone out there still using the Dashboard on Mac OS X? Anyone else worried that the rumored OS redesign that Jony Ive is working on will cut out this handy little environment? I still use it on a daily basis for lots of helpful things, including the ever-so wonderful Delivery Status, HTML Entities, Minutes, iStat Pro ...
Monday, so this is Christmas
Note: This is the second version of this post. Why, you might ask? Let's just say that staying up late, typing in a comfy cozy bed and feeling drowsy while waiting to talk to a friend on iChat aren't the best combination for blogging. At some point while typing in my sleep, I managed to ...
Getting Mostly Motivated
Yesterday I enjoyed the privilege of attending the Get Motivated seminar that was in town (thanks to Terry Allcorn and Student Life for 'sweet hook-up'9). There were lots of great speakers and despite having to listen to ridiculous sales pitches every hour or so, it was all worth it to hear Colin Powell, Rudy Gulianni, Bobby ...
Loves Hawk Nelson
Are you as excited about the new Hawk Nelson release as I am? The accompanying artwork and and site design is really great (minus like 10 point for having such slow download times ... though once you have seen it, it is kinda worth it). Definitely be sure to check out some of the wallpapers ...
