Brian Taylor (Bry-an Taylore)
Born: Unknown

"I come from a design and advertising background, starting out as a designer, then over the years getting into traditional illustration, and then computer illustration when the Mac came along. I had tried animation as a teenager - stop motion, plasticine, that kind of thing - but could never get the results I wanted." He began working on Rustboy while still employed as an illustrator in Dundee, Scotland; however, a patron has provided financing for the project, enabling Brian to quit his job and work on the film full time. When finished, Rustboy will be a 25-minute film.

Faced with Surprise
Margie asked to see how I use my Wacom tablet, so I made up this little illustration of maybe me? (not sure ... Jodie said the nose is obviously wrong). I think the next illustration I work on, I will work to improve my shading ... I want to get to the point of being able ...
IF : Expired
My entry for this week's Illustration Friday theme of "expired". I think this started out as me yet again trying to work up a propaganda-style poster (hence the color palette), but almost immediately realizing I don't have the right mindset for it. Instead, I spent some time getting more acquainted with Illustrator CS4's much-improved-but-still-goofy inline ...
IF : Hitched
Here's my fun little entry to last Friday's Illustration Friday theme of "hitched". Nothing in particular in mind with this besides just wanting to make some typographic doodling and clean it up in Illustrator. The background is partly from a photo I took while heading to work a few months ago. If you like it enough, ...
Incredible Sermon – Speedy
Here is the 4th sermon illustration, Incredible Speedy (a.k.a. Sermon S Graphic). What do you think of this one? I like some of the colors, and I really like the new design I made for the "S", but I am not too sure about the character in general. Still 100% Illustrator power here. How fun! ...
