The Paper the City project is an attempt at something creative, something resembling art ... on the scraps and scribbles of the many many receipts, leaflets, ticket-stubs and bubble gum wrappers that pass through our hands every day.
Most are left in waste-baskets or on Denny's tables, only a few feet from where they were made ... while some are on the lids of leftover boxes that I keep chilled in my fridge.
