I don't have any specific resources I can point you to, but the Genetic Counselor we saw at Winnie Palmer Hospital was extremely helpful with explaining medical terms and Max's diagnosis, as well as giving us information on available community resources. If you haven't already seen from the rest of posts here, having family and friends and God's word(s) nearby is extremely important. Despite not being able to be with our son right now, Jodie and I are where we are today because of the people we love and the God we serve. It is amazing to see the faith and joy you all have in the middle of such a trying and scary time. It's an inspiration. I'm praying for God to guide the hands and minds of all the physicians and nurses, but knowing He is the Great Physician, I am praying for a miracle that will blow the socks off everyone on that staff and everyone who comes in contact with Max and the family.
