3 May 2009Oscar got to help take little Max’s temperature, swab his mouth with anti-phenemonea stuff then both Mom and Dad together gave Max a sponge bath. While Matt and Stephanie were visiting, Dad got to hold Max! Will post the rest of the photos tonight.

3 May 2009When we arrived this afternoon, Max was getting photo-therapy because of increased levels of bilirubin in his blood (jaundice). 30 Apr 2009Jodie had plenty of company in her room that first night and we are both very thankful for your friendship and support. If you didn’t get a picture of you there, trust us … we wish we had! You all mean a lot to us!
Maximillian Alejandro Cortez arrived at 7:48 am on Thursday April 30, 2009, weighing 4 pounds 12 ounces.
He spent 14 days in the NICU at Florida Hospital South, with his mother, father & family, before heading home to Heaven. We are all very excited to see him again.
