9 May 2009I got to read more of “The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe” to Max tonight … one of the reasons I chose it as our bedtime reading was because of the wonderful parallels that C.S. Lewis makes to the promises that Christ has given us.
“Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight,
At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more,
When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death,
And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again.” – Mr. Beaver
Maximillian Alejandro Cortez arrived at 7:48 am on Thursday April 30, 2009, weighing 4 pounds 12 ounces.
He spent 14 days in the NICU at Florida Hospital South, with his mother, father & family, before heading home to Heaven. We are all very excited to see him again.

I’m sure hearing you read is one of Max’s favorite times of the day!
