14 May 2009“Max’s electrolite levels (specifically potassium) are high right now … his RN Jennifer is working to find the problem (two small IV blood draws so far) and lower it, since too high of a potassium level ‘can be lethal’.”
“While she was testing his levels, she let Dad change his diaper … he definitely put it on backwards at first.”

Maximillian Alejandro Cortez arrived at 7:48 am on Thursday April 30, 2009, weighing 4 pounds 12 ounces.
He spent 14 days in the NICU at Florida Hospital South, with his mother, father & family, before heading home to Heaven. We are all very excited to see him again.
